Cavs vs Bobcats Game Preview

The home schedule opens up for the Cavaliers tonight when they take on the Charlotte Bobcats. This game has some interesting story lines. The Bobcats are relying on veteran NBA coach Larry Brown to get the franchise up to a competitive level, something that really hasn't happened since the Bobcats became an NBA franchise. Below is the national media game preview along with a local Charlotte TV stations game preview.

Bobcats head coach not to confident against Cavs.

It appears that Charlotte Bobcats head coach Larry Brown isn't to thrilled about the season to start. Brown told the Associated Press "Based on the things that are important to win, defense, rebounding and taking care of the ball, we're not there," Brown said. "We've got work to do." Wow, sounds like it's a tough time to be a Bobcats fan. Check out the entire article by clicking here.

Cavs vs Celtics Recaps

Cavas fans please don't panic, it's just game one, there is still 81 games to go. Even though they lost, the Cavs were still competitive, so its no time to jump ship. If this is the best the NBA has to offer, I think we'll be alright because they only lost by five. Check out what everyone was talking about after the game.

Cavs won't see Celtics get rings.

During the pregame festivities tonight, everyone in Boston will be witnessing the raising of another championship banner and the team receiving their rings. Well not everyone. The Cavs have decided not to witness the ceremony and just focus on one thing, the game at hand and their plan of taking home the championship hardware this season.

Excellent article on Mike Brown

On the front page of Cleveland.com Brian Windhorst writes a great article about Cavaliers head coach Mike Brown. What I like about this article is that he talks about how humble coach Brown is and how he tries to fly under the radar as much as possible. He takes alot of blame but passes off on praise to other people. I don't think we realize how good this guy is as a coach, he is young and so is his superstar. When both of their careers are over, alot of records could be broken between these two. Check this article out by clicking here.

Opening Day Eve!!!!!

Well Cavs fans tomorrow night is what we have been waiting for. The Cavaliers open their season against the defending champion Celtics and we can spoil that ring ceremony and get at least a little bit of revenge. The team seems to be confident and poised for a big run this year. Mo Williams seems to be a good fit with LeBron and everyone seems to be ready to go. So lets all cheer on the Cavs as they show the rest of the NBA that there is a new team to reckon with this season.

According to ESPN.com's power rankings, this should be a good one.

Fans north of the border think Cavs are poised for a big season.

I found this article in the Edmonton Sun, yes all the way in Canada, and their columnist Frank Zicarelli writes how the addition of Mo Williams makes the Cavaliers a very dangerous team. Check it out by clicking here.

Cavs end preseason, ready for the real games to start.

Brian Windhorst wrote a great article about how the Cavs finished strong in their final preseason game in Columbus against the Washington Wizards. The Cavs were firing on all cylinders during the game, but a scary fall during the halftime show had fans and players shook up. You can read it all about it and take a look at some cool pictures form the game by clicking here.
